Every year, Nest organises a One Nest Stand presentation for which academy students get the assignment to make a work in the sphere of one of the exhibitions of Nest. This year, ten students of the Royal Academy deal with the subject of I Am Closer To You Than Your Very Self. In For I Know The Plans I Have For You they shed their light on religion in a personal or social context.

Most often it is the first time for the participants to  show their work outside the academy. To give the students a thourough preparation for the exhibition, they are offered a tutoring program. Independant curator Yasmijn Jarram, Nestdirector Eelco van der Lingen and artists Gijs Frieling and Hamid El Kanbouhi will give the students feedback on their plans and give them advice on the execution of the work.

One Nest Stands are exhibitions for one evening only. For I Know The Plans I Have For You is only on view on the 25th of February between 20:00 and 24:00 hrs.
