Nest at Art Rotterdam 2020

The works by Oscar Peters (1981) move, ride, chop and float. ‘Halo’ is the most recent work in his series ‘Shakers’. Peters is a critical connector and explores in his practice the reconciliation between public entertainment, folklore and the professional arts. With fascination he observes social tendencies such as festivalisation and reflects this innovatively back to the visitor. Peters examines the ritual of looking at art and enhances this process by implementing physical immersion into his work.
