Kader Abdolah and Arna Mačkić

19 Jun 2016   /   Lezing@Nest

Mačkić (1988) is an architect and fled as a five-year-old with her parents from Yugoslavia. Abdolah (1954) grew up in former Persia and came to The Netherlands in 1985 as a political refugee. Mačkić and Abdolah are good examples of creatives with a non-Dutch background working in the Dutch cultural field. On Sunday June 19 juni they talk about their experience with being a refugee and what it is like to work in the Dutch cultural circuit with this background.

This afternoon is a collaboration with Pulchri Studio and takes place in their Louis XV room.
