Rehearsing The Revolution – Sold Out
11 Nov 2020 16:00 / Workshop@NestRehearsing The Revolution
An imaginary tour of the historic museum of the future by Petra Ardai and Jörgen Unom Gario.
Everything around us is a story. The past consists of memories of experiences, the future is the forecasting of the unknown. The present happens now, but when you think or talk about it, it becomes a story, an interpretation. We make reality with our thoughts.
During the workshop ‘Rehearsing the Revolution’ theater maker Petra Ardai and poet/musician Jörgen Unom Gario take you on an imaginary tour of the historical museum of the future.
People are 24/7 storytelling machines and spend a large part of life sharing, consuming and telling stories. If we want to change the world, we first need to become aware of the stories we believe in and possibly hold on to unnecessarily. Rehearsing The Revolution wants to use the power of imagination to generate new shared stories that bring hidden possibilities and unseen knowledge to the surface. What do we say no to? What new thoughts do we embrace? How are we going to appropriate the future?
