Verwend Nest – Summer special

On Wednesday, August 3, children ages 6-12 (plus parents) can try our Verwend Nest workshop for free, during the “Verwend Nest – Summer Special” with artists Chantal van Lieshout and Valentina Gal. Click here to read more about Verwend Nest.

In the summer of 2022, artist Chantal van Lieshout will make a bicycle tour of various art institutions in the Netherlands. In each place she will work on a new artwork for one week together with a local artist, and prepare an exhibition with found materials and objects that are present on the spot or have been found during her bicycle tour. Besides P-OST in Arnhem, Casco in Utrecht, Amsterdam, Showroom MAMA in Rotterdam and Ruis in Nijmegen, Chantal van Lieshout will be based in The Hague at Nest in the first week of August.

At Nest she will work together with children from the education programme ‘Verwend Nest’ and artist Valentina Gal. On Wednesday 3 August there will be workshops all day on the square in front of Nest. With the results of the workshop Van Lieshout will continue to work and will be presented on the grass from August 5 to 7.
