Juliette Lizotte

Juliette Lizotte (Frankrijk, 1991), ook bekend als jujulove, is een multidisciplinaire kunstenaar die werkt met video, design, LARP en social games. Haar recente onderzoek is geïnspireerd door feministische sciencefiction, manga, popcultuur en fantasy en richt zich op heks als ecofeministische sleutelfiguur. Met het subversieve karakter van de heks als voorbeeld – marginaal, krachtig en ontregelend, met een bevreemdende relatie met de natuur – maakt Juliette gebruik van de krachten van heksen, hun betoveringen en hun betrokkenheid bij onconventionele vormen van kennis om lichaam en geest te empoweren.

On Thursday 2nd of June you are welcome in Nest for a guided tour through the exhibition ‘every moment a junction’. After the tour, you can join an interactive storytelling journey led by participating artist Juliette Lizotte through her videowork ‘Sisters of the Wind’. She invites you to step into a world of prophecies, witches, and spirits, and to become a contributor to the stories for a moment.
