Initiated and designed by Studio L A.

For the exhibition On Speaking Terms designers Lorien Beijaert and Arna Mačkić of Studio L A have created an experimental exhibition space. The various works of art will be displayed within the walls of Nest but in a new setting, to facilitate seeing things from new perspectives. On Speaking Terms shows art that questions we-them binaries and ‘me against them’ terms of thinking within our society. A temporary arena in the heart of Nest will invite you to form and exchange ideas on new views.

and on appointment

Festival, Saturday September 9 2017

DCR Pleinfestival

On Saturday September 9 the DCR Pleinfestival will take place at the De Constant Rebecqueplein. From 3pm until 9pm 'residents' will open their doors and present performances, tours and workshops for free. It is a unique chance to take a look inside the former power plant!

The De Constant Rebecqueplein houses many artists, architects, designers and cultural institutions. Together they´ve created a great festival program. There will be performances by Theatre Zaal 3 and dance studio Cloud. You can enjoy a soundscape by music studio Loos and take a tour in the Electriciteitsfabriek. Nest will open a new exhibition: On Speaking Terms. On set times it will be possible to take a tour through the hallways of the DCR Studios, where artists, architects and designers exhibit their work. During the day you can take part in workshops for both kids and adults. There will be good food for a small price. After 9pm the party will continue inside.
