For its sixteenth edition the Eastern Neighbours Film Festival (ENFF) presents Between Film & Art. In this series the festival screens films by artists and film makers Dane Komljen, Svetlana Romanova, Katarina Zdjelar, Sophio Medoidze, Naïmé Perrette, Norika Sefa en Dora Budor, programmed by Temra Pavlović. These makers explore the edges of cinematographic language and approach film from an artistic perspective.

ENFF has presented a unique selection of films from and about Eastern and Southern Europe in The Netherlands since 2008. Every year, ENFF selects feature films, documentaries, shorts and animations from countries with small but powerful film industries. Often these films are presented in The Netherlands for the first time. Next to these screenings, ENFF organises panel discussions, interviews and other events during which visitors can meet the makers behind the films.

During this night, Nest will present the following films:

  • Projekt, Dane Komljen (2023, 23 minutes)
  • Xitana / ხითანა, Sophio Medoidze (2019, 6 minutes)
  • Hinkelten, Svetlana Romanova (2023, 15 minutes)
