From January 2024 until March 2025, Babette Wagenvoort was The Hague's first City Illustrator, or in Dutch: De Haagse Stadstekenaar. De Haagse Stadstekenaar. is an initiative of Nest the municipality of Den Haag and Het Haagse Gemeentearchief (HGA).
In her drawings, Wagenvoort depicted current events in a soft and playful way. Climate change, the relationship between humans and nature, history and other events – her archive of drawings offers a broad image of the city of The Hague. You can find the full archive of her drawings here.

In addition to the exhibitions and programmes in the space at the De Constant Rebecqueplein, Nest can also be found at other locations.
